Spring 2015 at Stone Soup Films

2015 finds Stone Soup very busy producing films for our newest nonprofit partners, as well as participating in DC’s film community.

Here are a few partner films which recently premiered:

Bishop Walker

Teen Pregnancy Film

In February we were selected by the DC Environmental Film Festival to screen our film “The Anacostia River: Making Connections” three times at three different venues across the Capital. This brought additional recognition to the critically important issue of the health of the Anacostia River, our local water source and  beloved natural playground for humans and animals.

Lined up for the near future are more partner films, as well as our May DOC IN A DAY event, which will be taking place over the weekend of May 30th and 31st! We are currently seeking interested organizations that would like a film made and volunteers with camera and editing experience that would like to be involved on a team!  Please email Melissa at melissa@stonesoupfilms.org for details and to save your space on a team.

Finally, please stay tuned for our upcoming Open House which will be held in the magnificent outdoor courtyard of our new location at 1921 Sunderland Place, NW, in the Dupont area. Details are forthcoming!

As always, a huge thank you to all our donors, partners, interns, and volunteers who make these films possible.
